If You Don't Sparkle Then How Will You Stand Out?

Now I know a lot of this is because I'm a jeweler... but why do so many models do shoots without sparklies? I understand why you may be naked but why are your ears? I say the same thing to burlesque performers... Putting on something that is gorgeously sparklie doesn't detract from your overall look ladies... it adds to it. It's the period on your sentence. That final sparkle that says "remember me because you'll never find another like me".
